  • Abstract
A product called the PMX-HT C cell has been introduced. The chemical system is lithium/carbon monofluoride. The cell construction is of the spirally wound element type, and the cells are hermetically seated. An outstanding performance characteristic is the wide temperature range of operation from -20°C to +180°C, rendering the cell suitable for high temperature electronic applications. These cells have a demonstrated longevity of operation at 180°C of over 25 days and an estimated 25°C storage capacity depletion rate of less than 2%/yr. Data summarizing the PMX-HT C cell performance are presented
