Abstract :
With the constant progress of computer and geographic information system technology, the utilization of 3D GIS-aided planning and design has become a new planning method of the industry. From the technical perspective of 3D GIS, this article discusses the construction method and technique process of the visual landscape based on the city planning of Skyline. Fusing multi-source like DEM and DOM data, it establishes the real 3D geographical conditions based on Terra Suite software series. Adopting the method of combination of Google SketchUP and Multigen Creator, it conducts 3D modeling towards architectures and other surface features. Meanwhile, it develops 3D virtual simulation system of municipal planning landscape based on assembles of skyline, to provide assistant methods for city planning.
