  • Abstract
    In this paper, the authors introduce the tendency of spatial information technology, which includes the development of spatial information technology, the constructing of spatial information databases, and the integrating of spatial information technology, then introduced the concept of urban open space system. And then the writers discoursed on the necessity and possibility of design of urban open spatial information system. And then authors set forth in detailing the design and implementing the urban open spatial information system, which includes system design and subsystem design. Lastly, this paper brings forward the assessment plan for urban open spatial information system, for example, the assessment of system efficiency, the assessment of system reliability, the assessment extended function, the assessment of system transplantation, the assessment of system benefit, and so on.
