Abstract
One automation technique that can improve planning is artificial neural network computing. The authors have developed a solution to distributing mobile subscriber equipment (MSE) radio access units (RAUs) based on subscriber density. A method for applying new technology to improve the network planning and layout capability of the tactical communication network planner is described. The method uses neural network computing for optimization of the site selection of MSE RAUs
