Abstract :
Calcium phosphate coatings produced by both high velocity oxy-fuel thermal spraying and plasma spraying were subjected to four point bend mechanical testing to determine the bond strength of the coatings to the Ti-6Al-4V substrates. These results were then compared to the bond strengths of these coatings as obtained by ASTM C633 tensile testing
