Abstract :
In this paper, the secondary leakage inductance and the resistance in the equivalent circuit of transformer model of most typical type 1kVA of the induction heater for metal ring were identified both by experiment and by numerical electromagnetic analysis for MERS application on induction heater for metal ring. The effective improvement of heating ability by the application was confirmed.
