Abstract :
This paper presents a new robust homogeneous higher order sliding mode control for nonlinear single-input single output (SISO) systems. The proposed law combines first order sliding mode control with homogeneous finite time stabilization. The performance of the control system has been evaluated in comparison with other homogeneity based control laws proposed by Hong [1] and Levant [2]. Simulation results highlight the better performance of our controller compared to others, and confirm its robustness property.
