  • Abstract
    This paper describes the induction heating system using transverse type heating coil. The transverse type heating coil is useful for the nonmagnetic metal heating. But the temperature uniformity is not good. In this paper, we have performed the analysis of the induced magnetic flux and current density to solve this problem. And we found out the solution by this analysis. We designed the heating coil following the analysis and manufacture the heating coil and inverter power supply. We have done the heating test in order to verify the analysis result. As the result of testing, we have achieved the validity of improvement method for temperature uniformity. We show the improvement method and present the analysis and test results.
