Abstract :
This paper describes the development of a calculable standard dipole antenna for the frequency range 850 MHz to 2.2 GHz. The performance of the antenna has been evaluated on the open area test site and also in a fully anechoic room. The uncertainty for the antenna factor is better than plusmn 0.3 dB over this frequency range
