Abstract :
The use of equipment based upon the Digital European Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) standard to provide wireless local loop (WLL) services has attracted considerable interest from telecommunications operators. However, in addition to providing a conventional fixed service, extra revenue could be generated by offering a mobile service. This paper investigates how the WLL could be used as the basis for a mobile service
