Abstract :
This paper is a summing-up of the 700MW stator bar´s evaporative cooling hydrogenerator installed on the Three Gorges´ right bank underground power station. Firstly, the general installation condition of the Three Gorge´s right bank underground power station is introduced. Secondly, we compare the 700MW evaporative cooling hydrogenerator with the other same capacity units with the other two kinds of cooling methods and state the advantages of this unit. Then, the operational status of the evaporative cooling hydrogenerator including type test and long-standing operation are showed here. Finally, we get the conclusion that the world´s first 700MW evaporative cooling hydrogenerator is successful from various aspects of the design, manufacture, installation and operation.
