Abstract :
The relational analysis in the gray system theory is a kind of quantitative analysis, based on which a new method for the evaluation of alternatives is proposed. According to all the technical and economic parameters of the alternatives, the best and worst reference data series and the parameters are constructed. Then the relational degree between the best reference data series and the parameters of each alternative and that between the worst reference data series and the parameters of each alternative, or the best relational degree and the worst relational degree, are calculated. The order of the preference of design alternatives can be obtained by the construction of the fuzzy evaluation function.
