Abstract
We first explain the multiobjective fuzzy scheduling with fuzzy due-date. Next, we extend the fuzzy scheduling problems given by Cheng et al. (1995) and Ishibuchi et al. (1994, 1996) to the case where each job has different importance. We show two extensions of our fuzzy scheduling problems taking into account of the importance of each job. In one approach, we assign a different goal (i.e., a desired level) to the satisfaction grade of each job. In the other approach, we use a different unit reward for the satisfaction grade of each job. The goal and the reward of each job are specified depending on its importance. Finally, we illustrate how the importance of each job can affect the final solutions (i.e., schedules) obtained from the multiobjective fuzzy scheduling problems.
