Abstract :
A fuzzy correlation coefficient is proposed for fuzzy random variables from the practical viewpoint, by using correlation coefficients between points in their level sets. The proposed correlation coefficient is applied to the analysis of the relationship between the meaning of the word "tall" and individual heights.
