Abstract
A novel high efficiency Current-Shared Photovoltaic Power System (CS-PPS), mainly constructed by the Maximum Power Point Tracking and Power Conditioning System (MPPT-PC), is proposed in this paper. The proposed MPPT-PC can track the MPPT and regulate the load energy condition at the same time for increasing the circuit efficiency and providing stable power to critical loads. A 200W prototype is designed and implemented to assess the performance of the proposed CS-PPSS. Experimental results show that the proposed CS-PPSS can track the maximum power point of the PV panel, regulate the load energy, increase the circuit efficiency, and reduce the circuit cost as we wanted.
