Abstract
This paper describes a ubiquitous theoretical basis of the IMEM (Instantaneous Maximum Entropy Method) developed for the analysis of nonstationary signals and processes. This method analyzes nonstationary characteristics by an instantaneous evaluation function and filtering of time-dependent autocorrelations. This paper has given and clarified a theoretical basis of the sampling method with anti-alias filtering for nonstationary signals
