Abstract
High frequency fundamental mode crystals in the frequency range from 40 to 200 MHz show different electrical properties compared to conventional overtone quartz crystals in the same frequency range. They show lower electrical Q-values, different pullabilities and anharmonic modes as result of variations of the blank-electrode thickness ratio. We present the behaviour of anharmonic modes and C0/C1-ratios under various conditions using FEM methods, but also compare our results with experimental data of planoparallel crystals and inverted MESA-structured crystals, respectively
