Abstract :
The fusing process was introduced in the United States in the early 1950s. The author discusses various electrical test methods to verify whether the fusing process has "really" improved. Specific topics addressed include verifying the fused bond, resistance measuring, the Kelvin technique, contact resistance, the electrical configuration of an armature, the multivolt drop test and a review of test methods
