Abstract :
In vehicle surveillance system, it´s important to realize digital map because it can easier to know vehicle´s dynamic information. In this paper, application of MapX component in vehicle surveillance system is discussed. On the basis of analysis of composition and work principle of vehicle surveillance systems, using Visual C ++and integrating MapX component, realizes function of vehicles orientation, tracks replay, abbreviative map, objects query, then fulfills the design of digital map module of vehicle surveillance system. It´s helpful for designing specific system using MapX.
