Abstract :
A compact and wideband aperture coupled microstrip antenna array is presented In this work. The low cross-polarization and low back radiations are achieved by using an aperture-coupled configuration with a metal reflector. A good match taped feed network design enables a good bandwidth of 8% (VSWR=1.5:1) in the L band and low sidelobe levels. The total area of the array is only 1.35×0.26 m2.
