Abstract
The Web services, allowing different applications to integrate in an easy and cheap way, also simplify the inner and external business procedures in the public administration (PA), and between different PAs. Since the number of figures involved in the business processes is increasing, the process becomes more complex, that is why it is necessary to elaborate a coordinating system. The orchestration aims at running the whole business process managing the interaction among different Web services. To elaborate any composite process it is necessary to select all the various partners fit to compound the business process. In case of fault, the business process recovery can be simplified by a system that, through the caching of already used registered service, is able to recovery the whole situation. It is possible to pick out from the cache a Web service able to replace the non working service and to include it in the composition. The engine managing the orchestration must have the power to recover the state prior to the fault and to go on with the performance in a transparent way for the user
