Abstract :
This paper reports the current status of theoretical work on the electron anomalous magnetic moment alphae and its impact on the determination of the fine structure constant alpha. Our aim is to obtain a value of alpha with a precision exceeding 1 part in 109 when new measurement of alphae becomes available
