Abstract
A cyber-physical system (CPS) is a system featuring a tight combination of, and coordination between, the system computational and physical elements. The real time characteristic is a critical property of CPS. In order to improve the real-time performance, most algorithms use the preemptive scheduling model. However, the preemptive scheduling easily leads to task switching frequently, which increases communication overhead and seriously affect the real-time performance of CPS. Aiming at this problem, this paper proposes a real-time scheduling algorithm based on the reserved model. On the schedulable condition, by creating the relaxation time and the threshold of protection model, the number of task switching is reduced. The experimental results show that the algorithm can effectively reduce the task switching frequency and improve the CPS real-time performance.
