Abstract
We review a number of cognitive artefacts we have invented and implemented between 1970 and the present day. Most were directed towards the qualitative stages of electronic circuit design but are equally applicable to other design domains. They are characterised by being interactive and highly responsive. The following artefacts are outlined: MINNIE design tool; CoCo design tool; Influence Explorer; and Prosection Matrix
