Abstract :
Nowadays, the backbone network is capable of delivering countless information at extremely high performance and high throughput. However, the abundant information in the backbone may not be retrieved by the mobile users´ fingertips. This paper developed the parallel channels content delivery and concurrent retrieval mechanisms so as to support timely and reliable access to the multicasting information on the mobile terminals. The mechanisms proposed can deliver information, contents and services to larger mobile user groups in a high efficient way. The benefits include scaling up as the number of users increases, eliminating the need to multiplex the bandwidth among users accessing the air channel, and achieving shorter response time, lessening power consumption.
