Abstract
With the purpose of assisting space robots to make on-orbit experiments, a space target is constructed. In order to realize good performance of attitude control for the space target, this paper proposes a characteristic modeling method. In this method, the space target, as a high-order plant, is described by a slowly time-varying difference equation. Corresponding to this method, a parameter estimation algorithm is given. Based on the characteristic model, an intelligent attitude controller for the space target is derived. The controller includes four components such as maintaining/tracking, feedback, logic integral and logic differential control law. The effectiveness of the proposed modeling and control method is verified through the experiments on a test-bed.
