Abstract :
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has long encouraged implementation of “intelligent” energy-saving features for ENERGY STAR products. As an extension to this, EPA is now working with manufacturers to recognize new opportunities from “connected” smart grid enabled home appliances.
