Abstract
Unless the temperature of the divider is controlled, the dominant contribution to the uncertainty of resistor dividers used to measure high direct voltage is usually self-heating. This paper presents a simple test which can be used to estimate the change in scale factor caused by self-heating and the uncertainty in this estimate
