  • Abstract
    This paper analyses the propagation process of network faults, applies with mobile agent (MA) in network fault management, and proposes a three layers network fault correlation system based on the intelligence and mobility of mobile agent. The system adopts proper correlation methods in each layer, can matches the timeliness and self-study demands of fault management, reduces the network load, makes full use of current network conditions, and decomposes the difficulty of network correlation problem effectively. Finally, through experiment, we prove some superiority as timeliness and network load reducing of system based on MA.
