  • Abstract
    Internet is a media to transmit some real time data and need guarantee for limited transmission delay and correct data transmission. We need efficient network congestion control mechanism to limit the level of congestion. In this paper we propose, design and analyze a Robust Delay Based Controller (RDBC) for active queue management on Internet. This controller is based on an output feedback controller for reducing effect of uncertainties on performance of network. The simulation results illustrate that performance metrics will be better with proposed RDBC. We use network simulator (NS2) to compare performance of RDBC with other AQM. Queue length average and variance, bandwidth utilization, throughput and end-to-end delay are performance metrics that used for comparison.
