Abstract
We present a new deblurring algorithm for binary images. The proposed algorithm uses a predefined (pilot) pattern to estimate the point spread function (PSF) and applies the minimum mean square error based successive interference cancellation (MMSE-SIC) technique to decide the binary pixel value of the image. Our simulation results show that the proposed MMSE-SIC performs far superior to the other known deblurring techniques.
