Abstract
Positrons produced by conversion target have a large transfer injection angles and a wide energy distribution. To capture positrons a matching device which forms a strong magnetic field is used. This field may be achieved only by an impulse operated device. This device is utilized to form strong magnetic impulse field (10 T) and uses a capacitor bank. We consider an impulse magnet prototype and present a numerical simulation. The tests of both impulse magnet prototypes with a conversion target demonstrated a technical realization of this positron system design
