Abstract
In this paper, a novel printed antenna on the flexible substrate working at Gigahertz frequency is proposed based on the conductive carbon nanotube (CNT) ink. By advanced fabricating technique, the CNT ink is especially prepared and characterized so that a low-cost fabrication process has been developed for such a CNT printed antenna. The electromagnetic radiation properties have been investigated both theoretically and experimentally. This antenna has many advantages such as flexible, conformable, and portable but durable in severe enviroment. Because it can be conveniently integrated into the clothes and easy to carry, it has important applications in the wireless body area network.
