Abstract :
Total organic carbon (TOC) is the important index, which reflects the water pollution level by organic substance. In order to do a more comprehensive evaluation of the water degree affected by the organic pollution, we have to research the TOC. The traditional TOC analysis technology is based on chemic oxygenation. The analytic process is cockamamie and time-consuming, and brings the expense of chemic reagent. The TOC measure technology is designed based on ultraviolet optical absorbable method in this paper. Lock-in amplifier is used to gain the low harmonic signal for the measure of TOC concentration. The test result indicates that the TOC measure technology possesses the advantages of real-time online, non-contact and small volume, and the resolution could reach 0.5mg/L, can effectively detect TOC in water.
