Abstract
It is evident that service plays a critical role in the hospitality industry as customers pays more attention to the offered services. Especially competition is fierce based on the similar and substitutable service offerings in the hospitality industry recently. Consequently, service innovation has been considered as crucial in the hospitality industry in order to gain competitive advantage. According to the requirement of service innovation, factors affecting service innovation in the hospitality industry are analyzed. Simultaneously, relevant suggestions are listed for service innovation in the hospitality industry.
