  • Abstract
    Improvement of driving behavior was considered one effective way to enhance driver´s safety awareness and to improve traffic safety.In this study,a specialized database used for driving behavior analysis was proposed as an important method to evaluate the variation characteristic of driving.All the functions which this database needs to be realized were firstly studied. The sufficient data composition was then researched to meet the functions. The conceptual framework and logical framework of the database and the relationship between the indexes were then designed based on the functional requirements analysis.The procedure to realize this database was then introduced. Fatigue driving was finally demonstrated as an example to explain how this database was used to analyze the driving behavior.The results show that this database can be used as effective tool to analyze the behavior risky conditions and improve the analysis efficiency.
