Abstract
This paper describe the passive fixed beam forming network especially Butler matrix. Some Array application required several array beam and angular sector. Hence in this paper planner Microstrip based array has designed with four beams with four different direction, Circular polarization diversity, High gain and wide Band width. This Butler Matrix used as feeding network to the 4 × 4 planer microstrip patch antenna array. Butler matrix designed by using ADS software. The simulated results show that a combination of a circularly polarized array and a Butler matrix creates four narrower beams; each of these beams has a better gain, directivity, and radiated power. This designed is applicable for the 2.440GHz range frequency, which is mostly used for the Wireless LAN application.
