  • Abstract
    For many companies, supply chain management (SCM) has become an important element of strategic advantage to gain a competitive edge over their competitors. The soar-up of economy and improvement of info-tech require the enterprises´ sharp response upon the changeful market and demands from clients. The thesis mainly focuses on retail industry, and brings forward an information sharing scenario, using SM (short message) technology to realize instant information transmission among every sale unit and headquarter in a supply chain. By comprehensive research on SM coding format, AT commands and information flow, this paper presents a solution scheme and key technology. Information sharing in a supply chain can further improve cooperation efficiency of every sale unit and headquarter. Furthermore, the historical data of SM-based information exchange can help the management stuff to make strategic decisions and plans by processing and mining.
