Abstract
To combat the distortions introduced by RF filters in the transmitter, a digital filter can be used for compensation. The compensating filter has to be a complex coefficient low pass digital filter. In this paper, a method to design this complex digital compensator is presented. The virtue of the method presented is low filter order and simplicity of the coefficient-finding algorithm. Simulation results show the Modulation Error Ratio (MER) performance of this method.
