Abstract :
In this paper, we study the performance of a synchronization scheme in VSB modulation systems for terrestrial 3-D HDTV broadcasting. The synchronization scheme consisted of the symbol timing recovery, the frame controlling and the carrier recovery. The proposed scheme shows a bit error rate (BER) performance that is almost the same as the ideal synchronization in VSB modulation systems.
