Abstract
Bullwhip effect is a common phenomenon existing on supply chain. After studying the bullwhip effect in multi-echelon supply chains. This paper examines the beneficial impact of information sharing on supply chains. Finally, some effective IT supported platforms for the information sharing amongst supply chain are discussed.
