Abstract :
A miniaturized, selective and sensitive sensing system can be constructed by using solid electrolytes. We present in this brief review: the advantage of solid electrolytes application in sensors; the basic type electrochemical cells; the materials and some examples for the solid electrolyte preparation procedures
