Abstract
Summary form only given. Volume holograms possess outstanding selectivity to the properties of probing beams, such as angle, wavelength, and wavefront curvature. The selectivity can be used as filters in a microscope system. Multiplexing holograms makes it possible to image different sections of an object into different sensors at the same time, making single-shot image capture of the 4-D object (3-D spatial and spectral) possible. In this paper, we demonstrate two-dimensional imaging of fluorescent microspheres by a single volume hologram, and investigate the system characteristics.
