Abstract
Based on abstracting the coordinate development phenomenon of the third party logistics (TPL) and industrial clusters, the article first analyzes the nature of the synergy relationship between TPL and industrial clusters: superficially, the link between the TPL and the industries clusters is that TPL is the logistics service provider while the industrial clusters are the demanders; fundamentally, TPL and industrial clusters have a relationship of functional integration. Based on this, the article abstracts that the service orientation modes of TPL are respectively the system support mode, strategy support mode, strategy remodeling mode and system remodeling mode; then the article exemplifies these orientation modes, while on the other hand abstracts their characteristics, i.e. with different orientation modes, the capabilities of TPL are different, the benefits gained by the cluster enterprises are different and the cooperation level of the two parts are different.
