Abstract
Because the quality of experience (QoE) of video is affected by the content type of the video, this paper firstly establishes a video content classification mechanism. Based on the content types and the objective parameters of bitstream layer and application layer, which have influences on video QoE, a multi-factor QoE evaluation method for H.264/AVC encoded video is proposed. The experimental study shows that the proposed method performs well in assessing the video QoE.
