  • Abstract
Summary form only given. The optical parametric generators and amplifiers (OPA´s) are widely used to extend the tunability of the ultrashort laser pulses in the visible, UV and IR regions. The use of noncollinear OPA´s enabled to generate the extremely short (sub-5-fs) optical pulses. The multiple-beam-pumped OPA´s attract attention due to their efficient signal amplification since the signal gains its energy from all pump beams even in the case of uncorrelated pump sources. In this contribution we show that in the case of multiple-beam-pump the spectral gain bandwidth of OPA can be extended in order to amplify the broad spectral bandwidth pulses (continuum).
