Abstract
The development of a quality assurance system that takes maximum advantage of field quality data is described. This development included the structuring of the MIND (Maintenance Information Network Database) system, the establishment of a data analysis procedure, and the standardization of feedback and application processes. As a result, an active quality assurance system has been successfully instituted. Application examples are considered, including the early detection of defective parts and the organization of countermeasures
