Abstract
This paper is dedicated to the investigation of CPT resonance narrowing in a coated cell without buffer gas. We found that there are two different mechanisms of this narrowing: the laser-induced narrowing for lasers with narrow spectral width and the Dicke narrowing for wide laser spectrum width and gas cell length less than the microwave length.
