  • Abstract
Information sharing is increasingly recognized as an area offering significant potential for generating improvements and creating competitive advantage to supply chain. The value of information sharing within a supply chain has been analyzed extensively by number of researchers. However, there are few scholars who have ever specially discussed on information sharing risk both in domestic and foreign country. This article attempts to sum up main risks in supply chain information sharing. From the view of information economics, the authors think there is existing principal-agent relation between the partners. In order to explain the moral hazard of information sharing, a model of Nash equilibrium is put forward. From the view of management, the authors think information sharing risks derive from partners self interest behavior and opportunism. Based on the above analysis the authors put forward three kinds of incentive mechanism to avoid information sharing risks.
