Research on Capability of Container-Terminal- Centered Logistics Service Supply Chain

Container terminal and other related enterprises have formed a service chain spontaneously because of market mechanism, but the cooperation along the chain is loose due to the lack of relevant service supply chain theories. In order to introduce some best practices from manufacturing to service processes, this paper proposed a totally new perspective-container-terminal-centered logistics service supply chain (CLSSC), to look on the service flow. It firstly clarified the definition, structure and characters of CLSSC, then constructed the conceptual model and capability model, and finally discovered the parameters to evaluate the operational capability.
